An iconic Le Bambole two-seater sofa designed by Mario Bellini for B&B Italia. Originally conceived in 1972, the Le Bambole two-seat sofa revolutionised furniture design with its innovative foam-moulded structure that eliminated the need for a conventional rigid frame.
Awarded the Compasso d’Oro in 1979, La Bambole pieces are frequently featured in museums and exhibitions worldwide as exemplars of Italian design excellence.
This original 1970s design has been fully restored with new brown upholstery and retains both its original internal and external tags. A highly sought-after piece of collectible design, rarely available in Australia.
