Fields 1 by Anna Curnuck explores the relationship between colour, gesture and landscape-like abstraction. Soft, diffused fields of muted green are layered with warm earth tones and a sweeping arc of blush pink, creating a composition that feels both grounded and atmospheric.

The movement across the surface suggests a shifting horizon or passing light, where colour transitions are softened by visible brushwork and subtle blending. Areas of density and transparency sit in balance, allowing the eye to move between moments of stillness and quiet energy.
