Dovetail Brushed Aluminium Floor Vase by Georgina Davies

Northern Rivers–based designer George Davies has created a sculptural vessel that sits in quiet dialogue with floral arrangement and everyday ritual. Drawing on her background in interior and product design, Davies explores form, function, and emotional resonance, creating objects that go beyond simply holding flowers and instead reframe the act of placement itself.

Designed with a Brutalist influence, this piece embraces material honesty in both form and finish.  Scratches, maker’s marks, imperfections, and subtle interactions between metal elements will be present. The aluminium is intentionally left raw, and traces of the making process are expected and permanent features of the work.
