A rare find for collectors and design aficionados, the Zelda coffee table by Sergio Asti for Poltronova (1962) embodies the essence of Italian mid-century modernism.

The Zelda coffee table designed by Sergio Asti for Poltronova, Italy, 1962. A standout piece of Italian mid-century modern design, the Zelda series reflects a period of bold geometric experimentation and forward-thinking craftsmanship.

Trained as an architect in Milan, Asti was a key figure in post-war Italian design, founding member of the Associazione per il Disegno Industriale and recipient of the Compasso d’Oro. His work spans furniture, lighting and industrial design, with pieces held in major international museum collections including MoMA.

Sourced in Europe, this original vintage coffee table brings authenticity, provenance and a strong sense of design history to the living space. Its low, sculptural profile makes it an ideal centrepiece, pairing effortlessly with both contemporary and mid-century interiors.

A highly collectible design by Sergio Asti, with limited examples available in Australia.
