Fresco 1 Plaster Artwork by Thibault Perrigne

Fresco 1 by French artist Thibault Perrigne is a textured plaster wall artwork shaped through intuitive gestures. Built by hand on timber board, the surface retains the marks of the making process, revealing the relationship between touch and material.

Referencing traditional fresco surfaces through contemporary abstraction, the work invites close attention to its texture. Its vertical format suits a narrower wall or a position within a collection of artworks, adding tactile contrast to painted and photographic pieces.
