Sold | Daku Vase I by Tee McManus
This sculptural stoneware vase by Australian ceramicist Tee McManus draws inspiration from the iconic Japanese painting The Great Wave Off Kanagawa. The fluted form creates a sense of continual movement, with vertical line work flowing around the body to be appreciated from every angle.
Hand-built in McManus’ Sydney studio, each piece celebrates the tactile beauty of handmade ceramics. The softly undulating rim and rhythmic surface detailing give the vase both sculptural presence and functional versatility.
Designed to stand alone as an object or hold floral arrangements, this piece brings movement, texture and a considered artistic reference into contemporary interiors.
