A distinctive set of Italian dining chairs designed by Mario Marenco for Mobil Girgi, 1970, Italy. Defined by their architectural timber frames and newly upholstered black leather seating, the chairs balance structure, comfort and restraint in a way characteristic of post-war Italian modernism.
Trained as an architect in Naples, Marenco became known for designs that felt both refined and functional. Sourced in Europe, this rare vintage set carries a strong sense of authorship and period, with limited examples available in Australia.
