CONTINUUM #2 BY HÉLÈNE KÖNIG
A striking exploration of form, texture and materiality, this sculptural wall work by Hélène König transforms the wall into a gallery-like focal point. A hand-formed, organic relief appears to emerge from a warm timber panel, creating a compelling interplay between natural materials, shadow and depth. The softly faceted surface catches the light throughout the day, revealing subtle tonal variations and the artist's expressive craftsmanship.
Balancing sculptural presence with quiet restraint, the piece evokes the weathered beauty of stone and the fluidity of carved landscapes. Equally at home in contemporary, minimalist or collected interiors, it offers a tactile, architectural quality that invites closer inspection.
Each work is individually handcrafted, making every piece unique, with natural variations in texture, form and finish that celebrate the artist's process. More than wall décor, it is a collectible sculptural artwork that brings warmth, dimension and a sense of calm to any interior.

ABOUT
Hélène König is a French-born sculptural artist based in Byron Bay, Australia, whose practice explores form, material, and slow transformation. Drawing on a background in fashion design, she has developed a body of work that moves between sculpture, furniture, and everyday objects, guided by process, repetition, and a sensitivity to material texture.
Her work is grounded in a desire to create calm, considered pieces that feel both raw and refined. Working with repurposed materials and a deliberate, layered approach, König allows form to emerge gradually, embracing irregularity, softness, and imperfection as central to her visual language.
Recent work includes Duality (2025), a body of sculptural works composed of four interrelated chapters: Continuum, Fragments, Reflection, and Morphosis. Together, these works reflect her interest in change, balance, and the shifting relationship between inner experience and the natural world.
König works from her studio in Byron Bay and presents work across sculptural objects, wall-based works, and installation.
