The Large Daku Ceramic Dish by Sydney artist Tee McManus of All Day Clay Play features a deep, glossy black glaze with subtle tonal shifts that move between charcoal and warm brown in changing light. Handcrafted using traditional techniques, its elongated organic form and gently undulating rim create a sculptural silhouette that celebrates the beauty of handmade ceramics.

Ideal for styling along the centre of a dining table, on a console or open shelving, the dish works beautifully as a serving piece or displayed empty as part of a curated vignette. Individually handcrafted and finished in McManus' Sydney studio, each piece is unique.

ABOUT

Tee McManus is a Sydney-based ceramicist whose practice centres on hand-built vessels defined by organic form and repetition. Discovered by Kerrie-Ann Jones at the Sydney Ceramics Markets, her work has since developed into a distinctive body of contemporary ceramics grounded in texture and process.

Tee McManus is known for her fluted ceramic vessels, where repeated vertical lines create rhythm, movement and structure across each piece. This technique gives her work a recognisable identity, with forms that feel both sculptural and tactile.

Working primarily in stoneware, McManus builds each piece by hand, allowing subtle variations in shape and finish to emerge. Her approach reflects a focus on material and making, where the process remains visible in the final object.
